Hagen Tropimix
Tropimix enrichment bird food is a 100% edible blend that is free of all shells and husks, eliminating messy waste. Enrichment foods such as Tropimix should be implemented for your pet bird’s psychological needs. Birds just like humans seek the enjoyment of eating a variety of food. Hagen Tropican
Tropican Parrot food is an extruded formula that has a greater nutrient density and digestibility than other products on the market. This results in better plumage, weight balance, lower consumption, greater metabolic water production therefore lower water intake and lower urination and excellent palatability.
Tropican Premium Formulas are scientifically prepared as a complete balanced diet for all life cycles of companion Parrots, from a newly hatched baby chick to an active and energized adult all the way to a mature senior. Whether it is in the form of mash, extruded granules, sticks or biscuits, there is no need for dietary supplements. Each formula contains a nutritious blend of grains, seeds, nuts, vegetables, fruits, vitamins and minerals for maximum palatability and biological value. Tropican uses only the freshest grains and legumes from the most recent crops.

Feeding Guide
While the HARI Flock eats 100% Tropican extruded parrot food daily, when considering what to feed pet birds we recommend that the daily diet for parrots consist of 70% Tropican Extruded Pellets and 30% enrichment foods such as: seed & nut mixes, fresh fruits and vegetables, leafy greens, sprouts and of course Tropimix Enrichment Parrot Food!

Located near Montreal, Quebec, HARI (Hagen Avicultural Research Institute) is a research institute establishment built in 1985 to promote the welfare of the companion birds.
