This is a good alternative to a wheat bread crumb. The granules are mostly large, similar to Panko breading. The bottom bits get a little more fine, and actually I prefer them more fine as they stick better. It does need an oil or egg to stick. It doesn't add any extra flavor to the food which is great. It would be five stars if it wasn't pricey! Under four dollars would be a better price point.

    This is my third order. I'm completely gluten intolerant. I've had to learn to read labels carefully including sweeteners made from wheat: malt, glucose, dextrose and maltodextrose etc.

    I'm delighted to find a great gluten-free product because so many 'gluten-free- panko products contain glucose - so that's out of the question.

    A big thank you to Haiku for this gluten-free product! I'm going to stock up!

    Hard to rate this product for taste, panko products dont have any taste. I gave it a 5 for value because
    other gluten free products that i have purchased were like little rocks ,went straight into the garbage and
    were a waste of money. These are light and almost "fluffy" and coat food evenly. I always "toast"
    panko( you can look this up online)i before using it as rice panko does not brown like wheat panko .
