Works great for pad thai, stir fry, chowmein dry style dishes. Gluten free, 2 ingredients product.
Has :Rice, Modified manioc starch* - Manioc starch is powdery, flour-like ingredient comes from the cassava (also known as yucca). I prefer flat noodles over vermicelli for non soup dishes- gives more of a mouth feel. Individual balls make it convenient for portions, 1-2 is enough for 1 person, + added (tofu/ veggies/ meat). Tips -Boiled for 3-4 mins on medium low, make them ready for stir fries ( little chewy). After- I mix them in pan + cooked veggies + sauce, on low, for an additional 5 mins to absorb spices well. - Rinse well with cold water after boiling , to separate them. Adding oil to the boil water will make them keep separated. - Price is > 50% , than in store but quality and convenience is 5 star. - If allergic to cassava, or watching carbs, the rice vermicelli version of this brand- has only water + rice.
