Colours are not quite as pictured; most noticeably, the orange is more neon/pastel than what is shown in the product description. The depth of the coloured portion varies from one set of flags to another, which is a minor detail but annoying if you are like me and have a strong drive towards consistency when organizing. It is a considerate choice to have the flags on a plastic backing that can be hooked over the top of a page or notebook cover; however, the adhesive on the flags is too weak and unless I purposely hold the bottom half of the flags down, the entire stack gets lifted off the plastic backing when I try to remove the topmost tab. The flag stacks often fall off the backing, which renders this design choice useless. I am able to write on the flags easily with pencil, but ballpoint pens did not work, and it does not take ink smoothly either.
