    Good quality, and difficult to strip!

    The selection of drill bits that long was a bit sparse at my local box store, so I ended up using a 1/8 bit. I didn't split any wood, but the last inch or so was difficult to drive in. I'd order the correct bit Bosch BL2640 13/64 In. x 6 In. Extra Length Aircraft Black Oxide Drill Bit with the screws to make installation easier.

    It also seems the head of the screw is a tad larger in diameter than the screw head pockets on my hinges.

    Either way, the product is good and I'm pleased with the result.

    I got these to help upgrade the skirting on my house. I should have gotten the 3.5 inch. These are really long and grip very well. Used the heck out of my drill driver. Hade to change and recharge the battery several times. Excellent grip into the wood. Great product. Wish these came in a 2 lb. box. :)
