As someone with a history of ongoing teeth clenching and evening grinding, I'm delightfully surprised to have found such an affordable and consistent mouth guard to help me combat this. very. issue. I have been told by more than one dentist that my back molars are quite worn out and in need of an evening mouth guard (as they proceed to get pushy and promote $1000+ mouth guards AT me). But given that Im not comfortable paying a premium price up front, for a product I may not like, this mouthguard has truly become a no-brainer and a lovely addition to my daily routine (until i DO eventually upgrade to a more permanent mouth guard). My only recommendation or feedback to those reading this review is: YES, even though you CAN cut/shorten the mould, consider that the mould DOES slightly shrink as it takes the shape of your upper teeth/molars. IF it is too big, you can always shorten it, place it in a hot water bath, and REMOULD IT to your mouth again! Otherwise, it really is intuitive, easy-to-use. 5/5 would recommend.

    I followed the instructions closely and tried both sizes. it says to bite down firmly, the first attempt I bit right through it. I 2 more times with the remaining guards with no success. It loosely molds to your teeth but it doesn’t stay in place and falls out as soon as you open your mouth. It’s also not really any thinner than a typical night guard. It doesn’t compare/is not an adequate replacement for a proper dental night guard. I would have rather put the $20 towards a real one, this product is a waste of money.

Thick enough to protect from grinding etc. Unlike the one I have from the dentist which is hard, uncomfortable and made from a mold of your teeth so not entirely accurate, this one is done in real time with your real teeth. Therefore it fits perfectly and comes on and off easily.

    You couldn't ask for a better deal than this. You get 4 mouth guards (2 medium and 2 small), plus 12 cleaning tablets and a plastic storage case. The instructions are very good as well. You may be able to get a cheaper mouth guard but not for what you get. This is exactly what you need if you grind your teeth.

    The custom night guard does exactly what it says it does. Perfect for preventing your teeth from grinding each other and protecting them and I find that the smaller night guard fits my teeth comfortably. It does take time for your mouth to get used to them though. Once it does you'll be comfortable. But I had a problem: I accidentally busted one of the larger night guard pieces in the process of boiling the night guard in the water as it was instructed; I made the mistake of placing two of the larger night guard pieces in the hot boiling water TOGETHER instead of placing each piece in the water ONE at a time. Both of the pieces got stuck when I placed them out of the water. I manage to save one of them, but the other night guard piece ended being "molded together" by itself that I tried putting it back in the boiling water to fix it only to make the night guard look more worse and I tried it a few more times until I gave up. Now the other large night guard piece looks like a mess and I wish I didn't do that. Overall for what it's worth, it's worth the money. It could be a little cheaper, but other than that the product worked out!

    I'm a jaw clencher and as a result, I have many fractures in my molars. My dentist said if you clench your jaw during the day, which I do, then you're clenching it at night 10-20 times harder. Yikes. He suggested a mouth guard but I tried one years ago and it was very uncomfortable. Following doctor's orders, I bought this based on reviews and Wow, so comfortable! I followed the instructions on getting it fitted and it fits perfectly. I have a small mouth and didn't need to trim the edges. It stays in place for the most part but even if it slides around a bit, it is still separating my top and bottom teeth and that's the whole point. Also, my mouth feels much fresher in the morning after brushing my teeth than it did before and I think it's because my tongue isn't stuck to the top of my mouth all night. I'm so glad I found this. Highly recommend!
