    This is actually a generic spool used by many manufacturers. >PA66-G30< is the part number molded into the top, which fits both my Toro and my Homelite string trimmers. Based on my experience with these two trimmers, it seems like string trimmers, when they have lost the ability to auto advance, are asking for a shiny new spool.

    This does not work with the greenworks 40v 12 inch trimmer.

    Greenworks site says it will, the spool is 1/4 inch bigger than the ones that come with the trimmer. Tried moving the string over to the smaller spool, caused my trimmer to jam so badly that I had to dissemble it to fix.

    Doubt I will be buying another greenworks product after this experience.
