However, it’s old school style leads to a confident sense of manufacturing also. The main concern is that when the hook blade is in use the clever style blade digs into my fingers. While I’m not creating new cultivars via splicing yet. This blade cut very well and has maintained its edge well. I have no issues recommending especially at its price of $18 (at time of review). From the beginning I liked this knife (shape, two blades) as long as I try to cut first grooving shoot from a tree. Knife is so dull that not only I wasn't able to cut piece of shoot but I wasn't able to cut piece of regular roap. I just took an old utility knife and finished my job. I am really disappointed.
