I'd like to say that it snapped because of my super human strength, but I'll have to blame the material quality on this one. At least we're not out a lot of money because of this.

My wife attended a pampered chef gathering recently and found one with arguably a better design and quality for about 2 - 3 times the price ... and it comes with lifetime warranty. You get what you pay for!

I previously owned a plastic juicer that worked OK. This little squeezer is great, simple and effective. The finish on the metal seems a bit suspect, but it doesn't affect the capability. I have noticed the yellow coating is starting to spot fade a bit after a few months of regular use. It has made my Lemonball Martini's a breeze! It is compact and travels well. It doesn't accommodate larger citrus easily, but cutting them down a bit still works. For smaller lemons or limes it is absolutely fantastic though. Very happy with the purchase.
