This is a 9x13 pan, but it is tapered, which means it stores nicely in the other pans, but has slightly less volume than my old straight pan. But it bakes beautifully. I used it for a chocolate cake. It was easy to clean, as well.
The lid is sturdy, clipping securely to the pan. I had it in a travel bag and even took it in my carry-on (careful to keep the cake upright) on the plane. No problems at all. It kept the cake fresh and the lid never once slipped or unclipped.
I will probably be buying more of these, as I need them. It's so hard to find a pan like this with a lid and this is certainly the right one for the job.
Also, it has a handle, which folds away nicely. It holds the weight and does what it's supposed to do, but I didn't use it. My only criticism was that the handle folds flush in to the lid, which means less room for the cake icing, as it is about a half inch indented in to the lid. Still, my cake rose to the top of the pan and then I iced it. There was still enough room for icing. I wouldn't have been able to put flowers or writing with a cake that tall and still use the lid with the handle storage indentation.
