    This Blackstrap’s Molasses is a tempting ingredient to have around, even price wise, but its uses must be clear as it’s not one of those ingredients that can be widely used. I started with pecan cookies, and must say they added quite an asset to the final product. Then, I realized that short of more cookies this unusual ingredient must be understood in the ways to use it. Thick, dark, and after tasting it quite appealing, but certainly was not planning in consuming this heavy syrupy unique purchase in regular teaspoons. Still, credit where credit might be due, 4.1 Stars.

    I had no idea the Blackstrap Molasses has become a niche item. Or maybe its just niche here in Nashville. Regardless, I searched the local stores and couldn't find them locally. I was worried about ordering these online because our local UPS drivers are significantly not-too-careful with our packages. I just imagined what it would be like to open a box with multiple items covered with molasses ... but there was no need to worry. The jar is plastic and very capable of surviving rough handling.

    I've had quite a few positive comments on the bread I made with Blackstrap Molasses, so the quality is apparently good. Not sure how to evaluate them otherwise.
