    I feel so lost as to what to write, I have pages of thoughts, feelings, quotes, etc. but I don’t think there’s really anything I can write that will accurately portray what an absolute masterpiece & how perfect God of Fury is.

    We finally have answers to so many of the fill-in-the-blanks that we’ve been treated to since the beginning of the series.

    Niko & Bran were everything I didn’t know I needed & wanted in my life.
    I have never considered picking up a MM romance until this one. This book consumed me🖤

    Nikolai is violence on steroids, completely unhinged & has quite the potty mouth. Everything he does & says is absolutely deranged, taunting, hilarious and downright sinful. Now Niko has his own demons that he does not shy away from nor does he hide, what you see is what you get with him.
    - “No one can resist my undivided attention and constant pushing and shoving and annoying the fu**ing bejesus out of them.”

    Bran has worked hard to bury his demons & perfect the face everyone on the outside will see, caged & shackled himself to protect everyone but him.. All that changed when Niko literally bulldozed his way into Bran’s life & forced him to feel.
    - “Wanting him is a painful struggle. Wanting him is ripping a hole in the very marrow of my existence and making me question everything.”

    These two were perfect for each other & complete one another. They’re so opposite & it just works for them.

    First time reading this author and it was so good! A little bummed this is the only MM romance of the series so far. Since that’s all I read I did feel like I missed some important stuff that affected side characters by not reading earlier books like suggested. Still good though and doesn’t impact Niko and Bran’s story too much.

    When I say, I am obsessed with this book, that would be putting it mildly! I have read the entire LOG series multiple times over and this is got to be my favourite book that I have ever read, not just in the series. The character development is amazing, and I love piecing together the puzzle from all the other books. This is probably the first book that I’ve read that has emotionally destroyed me! Definitely check your trigger warnings as this does deal with mental health issues.
    Brandon and Nikolai are two of my favourite characters ever written. Their love story is epic, the spice is spicing, and at the end of this book you can’t wait to get more. Every person I’ve recommended this book to has ended up equally obsessed… even if they read it as a standalone. I will say my friends that read this book as a standalone. I have demanded that I send them screenshots of the other books where these characters are mentioned.

    This book highlights the relationship between Brandon King and Nikolai Sokolov and interconnect with the night of the initiation where Glyndon attended as well. Brandon was lured to the initiation under false pretenses, but the act of Brandon attended became a moment neither Nikolai nor Bran would truly recover from. As this book started, we see Nikolai, boisterous and completely confident in who he is as a person and his sexuality. He's crazy, very unhinged with a thirst for chaos. And then there's Brandon. The twin to Landon who has the illusion of calm, level-headed and someone with his life together and planned. These two were the collision of a tornado and a hurricane. The clash of thunder and lightning.

    Two broken souls who found their completion but had no idea how to maneuver it: especially Brandon. As this story progresses, we see Brandon fight how he feels; good and bad, through each page. He fights his demons desperately, quietly and alone as he lives under the heavy weight of who he should be. Until Nikolai begins to notice.

    This book had me in an utter chokehold with every single page. It was raw, unhinged, hot as hell but laced in realness of the struggle of hating who you are, mental illness, cutting, surviving assault. Of feeling inferior because our mind is so trapped in a reality that does not truly exist. This book deserves amazing reviews and I feel this review simply does not highlight how good this book was. As a reader, it forced me through an absolute brutal cycle of emotions that I enjoyed with every page I turned. I laughed, gasped, cried as I urgently moved from chapter to chapter.

    By far, this book is top of my list in this series for rating.
    (Killian is still my favorite though).

    Rina Kent, well done. I need Eli and Ava immediately please.

    Favorite of the series, hands down!
    Y’all, I strongly suggest you listen to the audio and read along. You won’t regret it. Shane and Teddy knocked it out of the park with this one. 🙌🏽
    The narration throughout the series has been amazing but this one in particular was something else.

    I knew from previous books that Brandon had a darker side so to speak but i never thought he would be like this. I also knew I would love him even more after his book.
    With Nikolai I was very intrigued to know what was up with him and why he had his violent side and why he was so hostile towards Bran, or so I thought.

    The beginning of this book was an experience already. I loved how it started and how much we learned about Bran and how much we delved into. I loved seeing how he felt when Niko came barging into his life and basically didn't take his 'no' for an answer.
    Bran was such a complex character but also easy to understand and quite honestly the easiest to have sympathy for from the very beginning compared to the others in the series but especially with his twin brother, Landon. I loved seeing how much him and his twin are interlaced with each other and what each other meant to one another.
    Bran was a closed off person and he wore a mask for everyone but Niko noticed something was up with him and never gave up on getting to the bottom of who the real Bran was.
    I also liked the journey Bran went when facing desires he never thought he had and what that meant for him and everyone around him in a way.

    Niko was a very straightforward character. He is very blunt and a simple man and while people think he's dumb, he is anything but that. He also has a heart of gold which I wasn't expecting and that's part of why this book was so good.
    Niko had the best relationship with his dad, Kyle, and I loved seeing it.

    They are opposites of each other but that's what worked best. They are both very possessive of each other and I ate that up. Bran was such a surprise in that regard while Niko was the cherry on top of everything else.
    I loved and felt how deep in love they were for one another and I love these two.

    Highlights of this story:

    1- Niko being persistent because he saw something in Bran and he never gave up nor even thought to.

    2- Landon came through multiple times even if he f****ed things up in the beginning. In my eyes this book felt like a wrap up with Landon's arc because I actually felt that he meant what he said and I was an emotional mess every time.

    3- Niko & Landon teaming up to take the trash out. 👀

    4- Levi & Astrid coming through with their understanding and love.

    5- We finally figured out who white mask is. 👀

    While I cried in various parts of this story, the third act was a lot. It was painful, emotional, sad and everything in between. I was a mess y'all.
    This book was painful, very emotional, sweet at times but with a dash of violence and a love between two souls that were meant to be. I suggest you do not read this as a standalone to get the full experience. At least God Of Ruin is a must because Landon is the twin brother and as such an integral piece of Bran's.
    Please check the TW/CW at the beginning if you have any because it has some heavy topics and while every book in the series is dark, imo this one hits different.

    I have never ever related this much to a book. I cried and laughed and cringed. I felt the pain and the love and the feelings deep in my soul. I love Rina Kent and have read most if not all of her books now and i know its taken me a while it read it but God of Fury has to be the most heartfelt and beautiful book. I never knew words could be so beautiful and the story they depicted flowed in a beautiful rhythm. For the last two or three years Looking for Alaska by John Green has been my favourite book of all time but now Nikolai and Brandon have come along and stolen my heart because their love story is a true depiction of the fact that love really does conquer all.
