Please follow those steps and reset the GoCube:

1. Gently lift the blue tile that is in the center

2. Press the small black reset button for 30 seconds

3. Charge the GoCube for 2 hours

4. Connect the cube to the mobile app
How can I know if my GoCube is charging?

1. Connect the GoCube to the USB charger

2. Check if the inner white LED is blinking

3. After GoCube reset, the LED may not blink immediately. Charge the cube for a few minutes and then disconnect and reconnect the cable again.
How do I resolve Bluetooth connectivity issues?

1. Reset the cube

2. Check that the location services option is enabled on your Mobile device

3. Make sure your mobile’s Bluetooth is enabled on your Mobile device

4. Make sure the Cube is fully charged

Around Christmas I saw an ad for a Rubiks Cube, and decided to try it — this thing is waay better than the original cube. It has properly tensioned springs and magnets so it always snaps satifyingly into place as you turn — its like a fidget spinner for your Brain. I had some trouble with battery life on another smart cube — but this one charges reliably, and reliably connects to the GOcube app on my iPhone via bluetooth. the software has a modern solver (CFOP) which will train pretty well anyone with the fast method. the built-in accelerometer provides an accurate 3D simulcrum of the real cube within the app — rotating and matching your moves in real-time. the app also has persistent statistics and solve tracking, and lets you compete with other cubists around the world. i'd highly recommend the GOcube to anyone that has an interest in the cube — highly satisfying and excellent!

This cube taught me to cube from scratch in about two days. The cube itself clicks nicely into the turns and feels good, although maybe a bit slippery feeling because of the rounded corners. The app is fun. Only complaint so far is the app pairs up with the right colours on the cube only about 70% of the time and I find myself having to re-sync or even reload the cube state. I still give this product 5 stars because it taught me to cube in no time at all and it’s super fun and I still recommend it to family and friends even with the shortcomings mentioned.

First the good:

The GoCube is well built, rotates effortlessly as if it is on ball bearings, and probably is. The packaging is well thought out and is simply amazing.

I thought this might make good presents for the kids in all of us, I have since changed my mind.

So why am I returning it ?

The software is a nightmare.

The first time I “logged in” it worked well with instructions on how to manipulate the cube. I didn’t have a lot of time that day so after a few turns I put it aside for another day.

There was a warning not to manipulate the cube without the software running. That told me that the cube registered turns and not locations. Turning the cube would cause it to be out of sync with the software, you would be on your own after that.

I wondered why I had to sign in. This is a toy not a bank account, in fact it is easier to log into my bank account than GoCube. The encouragement is to use FaceBook, which I do not use.

Trouble started when I attempted to log into the GoCube the second time. The software demanded a login, the procedure I found to be confusing and unclear. The preference again was FaceBook. It was then I wondered why did they want to track me, what was in it for them?

I entered my credentials, apparently that was not good enough, after a few tries, GoCube LOCKED me out. I have no idea if it was for 1 or 3 days. I was forced to put it aside. I do not have a lot of spare time, when I do have a few minutes, practicing login’s is not my favourite activity.

Several days later I picked up my GoCube for another attempt. After a couple of tries to log in, I was once again LOCKED OUT.

That was it for me, why would I spend more time attempting log in’s in than actually playing with the GoCube ? You may have a different experience, perhaps you use FaceBook.

This is my experience and I do not recommend this product.

It's decent but had some easy room for improvement:

The app videos will not load, I've tried everything switching from wifi to data, shutting off my vpn and reinstalling the app were all wastes of time.

The led lights aren't helpful because the red and orange sides are too similar so you still need a well lit room.

Battery life is pretty mediocre.

But at the end of the day it did what I wanted and helped me solve a cube. I think I'd buy a cheaper option next time.
