Ever had a desire to understand what it feels like to have severe anger issues? Try using this disappointment and I garantee you'll be able to write a thesis on it.
I was given two of these bulbs as a gift. They were really finicky and took tons of screwing around to finally get them to connect to wifi. They seemed to magically connect on their own after many wasted hours trying to get them working. I thought it was something I was doing wrong, and beyond the intial frustration of hooking them up they work fairly well, so I purchased a third bulb.....Days, litterally days later of trying to get this hunk of garbage to link to my wifi (shutting everything down within 500 ft besides a single 2.4ghz channel, trying every different type of connection process and rejigging my router down to bare bones and running it without any kind of security) and still no luck. I gave up and decided that i might as well just use it as a regular bulb and make the best of a bad situation...even that is a loss as it now drops in and out of pairing mode at its disgression. Rather then drive yourself crazy buy a standard led and train chipmunks to hold up different coloured filters while operating the dimmer switch. I promise you will come away happier with the outcome than trying to get this thing to work. Sorry folks at Globe. I really really wanted this to work for both of us but there is nothing that anybody can do that will rectify the amount of time I wasted trying to get your frustrating product to work. I have and use other smart products in my home and they all seem to operate as they should even after shutting them all down and reconnecting them to try and give yours a chance.
