This movie was the sequel to Russel Crowe's Gladiator. The story was well thought out and all the new actors and returning actors reprising their roles gave the movie a more compelling storyline. I was impressed with the way the movie unfolded and Ridley Scott added another excellent battle sequence that is always his forte. This movie is worth adding to your personal collection I kind of felt the Denzel Washington's role in the movie could been better portrayed by a more devious actor like Brad Dourif from the Return of the King. I believe that this was the only issue with the movie but easy to get over and still enjoy a great movie. It's a nice addition to my personal collection.

One review mentioned devil dogs...they were starved baboons...The CGI was good, I watched the 4k version.
I didn't like the opening animation. My biggest problem was the foreshadowing. For example, you know his wife is going to die when they exchange rings right before battle in a very schmultzy scene.
About 45 minutes into the movie you know how it's going to play out.
Some of the cinematography was great.
This movie does not live up to the original.
Recommendation. Wait for it to go on sale

To me not as good as the 1st. one.
But enjoyed it very much, a little hard to fallow at time but still came through, the more you watched!
I think it's a film you have to watch a couple of times to get the full effect.
    Recommend the supplier.

Did not like this one bit. it was like a Shakespeare play and on top of that it was lack-luster at best.
I mean Denzel Washington look and play the part like it was. you have to give me something different, you can't be this one note all the time like you're beating bad guys up. Spartacus Gods of the Arena was waayyy "Better"
