Season Two has come up to the same highly entertaining and colorful viewing as Season One. I highly recommend this superb series to anyone who loves period dramas!
It’s enjoyable but not to “ Downton Abbey” standards ; Dame Maggie stole the production ; plus the BBC series are far superior to Hollywood in my estimation .. I love the time period & knew alot of the history of the era .. this story is certainly “ watchable “…
5.0 out of 5 starsA feast for the eyes! (And ears.)

I don't subscribe to any streaming services so I had to wait for this to come out on DVD. (Why no BlueRay????) Written by Julian Fellows of Downton Abbey fame, this series is a delight! Perfectly cast (a tad better than D.A. IMHO. I was never a fan of Elizabeth McGovern). Carrie Coon is one of my newest favorite actresses. She plays the part to perfection, as does everyone, frankly. Nathan Lane is a hoot! He's such a versatile actor. (But I'm always doing a flashback to his role in The Birdcage.) Denée Benton is a delight to watch. A great role which she portrays with such sincerity. This series could go on forever as far as I am concernedI
