  • The No-Cut Electric Door Strike (Fail-Secure) is used to convert a cylindrical lockset into an electronic access-controlled locking system.
  • This "no-cut" model is specially designed to fit most metal or wooden doors with only minimal cutting required of the door frame beyond the hole for the strike.
  • Installation is further simplified by the strike's 2-contacts, non-polarized connection to your access control or egress device, as well as its reversible non-handed design to fit either right- or left-handed doors. (This lock will be polarized when the diode added).

Work With Mechanical Lockset:

  • Strike lock needs to work with mechanical lock or knob lock which should buy separately.

No Polarity Requirement:

  • Uses 2-contacts, non-polarized connect to access control or egress device.

Tips:

  • 1N4004 Diode: Prevent high voltage to two ends of the electronic lock while the contact of access control unit relay disconnect. Without diode, there will be high voltage pulse interference to circuits and the life time of the access control unit relay will be greatly reduced.
  • This lock will be polarized when the 1N4004 diode wired.
