These pans work really well - I bought them to make egg bites as my other pan, they stick and require a lot of clean up. These work well but are flimsy so will need to put them on a tray to prepare and back. If you have anything liquid in these, will need to put a pan underneath so it doesn't spill. Otherwise, I highly recommend them.

If I could go lower than a one star , I would. Upon receiving them, I gently hand washed them. These are very flimsy, so you need to place on a baking sheet. These are also not oven safe. Within 20 minutes of being in my oven (350°) , they started smoking heavily. My house wreaked of plastic, for hours. Thank God I was near my oven, when this happened.

I ordered these cupcake/muffin “tins” as everything I have owned in kitchen ware that is made of silicone, I have really liked. While yes, these pan don’t have the rigidity to be transported into the oven when filled as is, a simple cookie sheet under it/them will provide that necessary support. But where I feel this will excel over a more traditional cupcake tin, even if that tin is a good quality non-stick, is the ease of removal of whatever it is I just baked. So no more colourful language as I am desperately attempting to remove something that is stuck in a cup. Even if that baked item is sugary and has developed an area of baked on sticky, this won’t be an issue to remove from these pans.
The photo shows the 2 received gray pans after they had been run through the dishwasher. The only indication of this is a bit of whitish (soap?) residue on the one pan in a small area. As for the size, even though I was certain these pans’ cups were shallower than “normal” as you can see I; the photos, this is totally not true.
I am looking forward to trying a GF cupcake recipe I’ve been given. My hopes are I will be able to bake these without the cup cake papers as I’ve found the first attempt, while tasty, the paper liners wanted to hold on to the cake while being peeled and so the remaining cupcake was quite small. Not good. If this can solve this issue by not requiring a paper, this will be a double win and a money saver.

Compared to a standard (or older I guess) muffin tin or even silicone trays that I have, these are quite a bit smaller than those. I would say these are PERFECT for making imitation Starbucks/Timmies little egg omelette bites. The EXACT size of those little hand held egg bites in fact. And these would also work well for just in general smaller cupcakes and muffins. I don't mind it because I do have my old ones still and I honestly prefer the smaller size for when you want more bite sized items and not one big giant muffin or cupcake. But I did want to warn you that these are quite a bit shallower and smaller than a standard muffin tray. But I do like the smoothness of it as my old ones don't stay as clean as you want them to be, they made them textured back in the day (10 years ago, not THAT far back) and I don't know why because the burnt oils and butter just gets in those grooves and stay there no matter how much you scrub. At least here I can see keeping these clean! And yeah if you want something to make egg bites in, this is THE perfect one!
