Perfect For Upset Stomachs!
This Gastrovol is so handy to have around for times when upset stomachs crop up. It’s made by the same makers of Gravol, and the active ingredient is Bismuth Subsalicylate (which is the same active ingredient in Pepto Bismol). There are 16 capsules included in this box. I like that they are individually blister packed. This makes it really easy to cut a couple of the blister packs apart and keep them in my purse or my desk at work for when they are needed. These capsules are odour free and taste free and easy to swallow. Excellent product!

    Bismuth is very effective, it is a metal just like Magnesium, so why PB has insisted on packing it with an extended list of chemicals plus Sucralose and this hideous pink colorant is still a mystery. Who wants to drink this of all times, when one feels nauseous?

    So until someone makes a healthier normal looking liquid alternative, I am very happy with this product. 1 star lost as I agree with some reviewers that it is very hard to get the capsules out, I can't see any good reasons it has to be so hard, especially when their clientele will be already feeling discomfort when tackling this packaging.

    It works well. However, when I received this the box the capsules were in had been opened. I wish the company would consider adding a seal to the carton. The capsules appear to be ok but I don't know absolutely for sure if they have been tampered with.
