This little gem has been in constant use for almost a year. I am 75 and hadn’t played for 3 years. My swing speed was around 65 when I started using it, now 85 and straight shots. I have it in a golf sim with a Spectrum screen, Ben Q projector an GS Pro software. My son is a professional and gets fitting from Titleist, he is very impressed with the data provided. It takes a little time to get the proper set up , trial and error. I have a complete sim for 3500.00 cdn including gaming laptop. We don’t use it on the range, waste of time with range balls.

    Sometimes the unit disconnects, but we've gotten used to the 'fix' for different scenarios. Works in our garage Golf SIM in all 4 seasons (in Canada, so winter and summer 'peaks' arent an issue). Bought the RCT Titleist golf balls to help with accuracy. Free app makes this purchase worth it, and provides enough detail back for improving golf game. Could probably use a few more feet in the garage to make the accuracy a little better. Paid for itself after one year (reduced visits to the driving range).

    Everything is exactly as described ....only thing that wasn't mentioned was that you will need an IOS min. of 14
    I was not able to download the Garmin Golf App on my iPad as it only had an IOS software version of 12.5.6, which was the most up to date version it would take - my iPad Air is an older version. Using a newer phone worked and just project it to a larger monitor. It is more then just a simulator you can actually use your swing stats to practice and and work on swing consistency. Well worth the cost.

    I did a lot of research and concluded that the R 10 fit my price range any provided the information I most wanted. I found that it was easy to set up, when following simple instructions. On line complaints are that it does not measure correctly. I have found that it measures very close to correct. Just because you hit one shot 170 yards doesn't mean you'll hit the next 10 even close to that. I have found it to be very useful in helping me adjust my swing to be more consistent. On the bad side a monthly subscription is suggested by Garmin to unlock all the features. I cancelled after a few months ( I didn't find it necessary for me). Also E6 connect is a much better experience. And ,it has a 2 week free trial. All you have to do is download the app and the R 10 connects easily. Golf season is only 6 months where I live. Overall this is a great tool/toy that allows you to play /practice all year long
