    I found this on an American site and was thinking to purchase for my mom. It is $37 US, I cannot understand how Canada justifies the 2.75xs price increase to $131.00. I understand sales and doubling the price and adding the shipping, but this is highway robbery. Overall nice product, but way overpriced for a piece of molded plastic that probably actually costs $5. to make.

    I garden a LOT and this is the best seat I have found to use in my raised bed garden. The way it is rounded at the bottom makes it so much easier to maneuver and reach stuff. Seat is comfy and it is sturdy and made very well.

    Love the adjustable height. Very comfortable contoured seat: fits like a glove, (had planned to buy the cushion, but no need.). The rocking feature makes it awesome! There's a slight learning curve to sitting on it and to control the rocking motion while reaching. Basically, as you sit, put one hand on the seat to keep it steady until you are on it, and when reaching, use your foot/leg to counterbalance/control the tilt of the seat. ...... When you think about it, why buy a garden seat that doesn't have maneuverability? ....... Because the seat rocks/tilts: 1. It saves wear & tear/strain on my back and knees even more. 2. It allows me to reach a little farther which has been very helpful when things were just beyond my arm reach. I love it! ..... Oh, and its light weight, very easy to transport from one spot to the next. I was skeptical about using it in my rock bed because of it being an unleveled surface. No problem at all! The material is easy to clean by wiping down or rinsing with hose and should 'weather' well if left outside. ........ I love it! My back and knees love it!

    We have an earlier version of this stool we purchased years ago, but needed a second one. When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised by all the upgrades since we last purchased--reinforced stem, better seat shape, little stabilizing spots on the bottom so it doesn't shoot out from under you with a big lean. I wish it wasn't black in color, though. We live in black widow central, and they like cozy little dark spaces (like the stem sides or the shed in which it will be stored) for nestling in to lay their cottony eggs sacs. We'll see the sacs, but mama will be virtually undetectable. The prior green made it easy to see and remove the ladies with the hourglass markings before sitting down for a weeding or tending session. Overall very happy, but would love to see it back in a lighter color.

    To start, I do have problems with my back, feet and unfortunately overall body aches on any average day so keep that in mind while reading this review. So far I've only used my rocker seat a few times but I've found that it does help to extend the period of time I spend working in my garden so that alone gives this seat four stars for me because that's exactly what I was hoping for.
    The reasons I'm not giving the product 5 stars:
    1) You do need to be a bit more conscious of your balance, because the seat does have the ability to rock all around to more easily reach all areas in your garden you're also more likely to 'over lean'.
    2) Using the seat does take some pressure off of my back, over the alternative of working on my hands and knees but I do take breaks because my back will still start to hurt after about 20-30 minutes so I take breaks often. This might not be the case for everyone as I mentioned above I already have a bad back.
    3) I recommend keeping the chair in your garage or any cool shaded area when you're not using it because even when I only left the chair beside the garden for 2 hours the plastic softened on the back of the seat and when leaning back only slightly the plastic folded and dumped me off the back. If you're anything like me this will have you jumping up quickly and looking around for onlookers. I swear even the squirrels were laughing at me.
    4) The last thing I noticed is that if you have a difficult time getting up from the sitting position this will not be the chair for you and there isn't anything to grip and push yourself up without again faceplanting into the ground.
    With all of that said I'm still going to continue using it because the little bit it does help me is better then nothing!
