I got these as a birthday gift and the sound quailty is way better than the Astro 40s, the wireless connection is amazing and allows for more of a comfortable gaming experience. I play Rainbow Six siege which is alot of sound cues and the astro A50s are the best headset I have ever used and the battery life is amazing on them, I barely have to charge them. Straight to gaming and hearing better in all video games, also if they are dead you can use a cord to charge them and use them at the same time!!!
