    If you are into mobile gaming, then this is an excellent mobile controller that is really well-made and sturdy; it just looks premium. This GameSir G8 Galileo works with all phones, Android and iPhone, and connects over USB-C. I guess it connects to new iPhones that has USB-C, however, I'm an Android user, so I'm not totally sure. I currently have a Pixel Fold 9, which connects perfectly to the controller through USB. The only issue is that because the USB connection is on the right of the controller, my phone unfortunately opens downwards when unfolded, instead of upwards, which feels more natural. In any case, we tested it with my Son's S24 Ultra and it works flawlessly. The USB connection eliminates the need to connect over Bluetooth and could minimize lag. You can also use the controller while being charged.

    There is an app that you need to download to get the maximum benefit of the controller. There is a learning curve, its not always perfect, there is some tweaking to be done depending on the game. I tested the controller with the new EA FC Mobile. It worked by default using the HW engine, which attempted to figure out the mapping of the touch controllers on the screen, but it wasn't perfect. I needed to spend time figuring out how to best map the touch buttons on the screen to the keys on the physical controller. I think the controllers are based on the XBOX controllers, and it should be default work flawlessly with the XBOX game pass, but I don't have a membership to that platform, so I wasn't able to test it.

    The packages come with an additional three interchangeable joystick caps if you would like to change depending on the game, and there are 2 buttons at the back of the controller to allow further customizations; they are labelled as R4 and L4.

    I'm very happy with this controller, I believe there is great potential, I just need to figure out a few things for custom game play outside of the popular platforms like XBOX, Steam and the likes which should work seamlessly.

    If you're looking for a game controller for emulation or for other mobile games, then definitely pick this one up and don't think about it again. One thing I absolutely love about it is the fact that any phone is compatible with this controller. I personally use it for PSX too and emulation, but you can use it for a wide variety of games. The one thing you might have issues with is using it for Certified games like Call of Duty that require a first party controller or for screen controls. Besides that, this controller worked perfect for me. All the buttons and the joysticks feel like they came right off of an Xbox controller which Speaks to its quality. I haven't noticed any stick drift or anything weird going on with this controller at all. Right now this game controller Costs $99.99 Which is a pretty penny. However, if you are an avid mobile gamer, then this is just a small price to pay to refine your experience. Overall, I'm really happy with this game controller and I would definitely recommend it to everybody.
