I love this humidifier! So much so that now- every other humidifier I own is a waste of money and that includes the corners of wet sponges that I put in my gig bags which do work as humidifiers. If you don't want to buy this thing, they work, and a sponge in a Ziploc is basically free but ... they're not as good as this. This thing is next level. You don't have to worry about it dripping water into the sound hole you don't really worry about like it's. It's such a relief, literally the relief in your neck will stay somewhat constant!lol. . I have a d28 and I'm always scared to put a humidifier in the sound hole and this thing was the first device where I was... not really worried about it and you can like keep the hydro balance good. Ex- if your guitar is not really dehydrated you can just put it to minimum and just leave it like that and it'll just stay on 'mid hydration level' forever. Or if a guitar is really drying out, you can set it to Max and stick it in there and just see how it does. But this thing is great. I mean there's obviously practical and free ways to humidify your guitar, but they're generally kind of messy and I don't like the idea like moldy water getting into the wood and this this is nice. Like fill a little syringe with distilled water. Fill that in here. Stick it in your sound hole. You're done. You don't have to worry about it again. Probably stay saturated for a while as a hygrometer on it so you can monitor it between this hygrometer and the hygrometer built into my Alvarez gig bag. I can always keep two guitars basically monitored with little oden dial hygrometers! I know exactly how hydrated they are which is something I'm not actually too crazy about. But this is perfect for me because if you're not like a super obsessed humidification guy, this is for you cuz it's not that expensive and it seems very well designed.
