    The stand supports me in my hammock chair. It could be a little taller as we are very nearly touching the ground.
    The only potential problem I noticed was that the bottom bars filled with rain water over the summer. I didn't notice it until I moved the unit off of the deck to store it. When I tipped it over, rusty water poured out of the legs. I'm not sure how long it will last given the water pooling/rusting, but i have had my previous hammock stand do the same thing and it is still functioning.
