Given the light weight construction, these are suprising strong. I was not optimistic when I initially installed them. They proved to be quite strong when pulling directly away from the wall. However when a strong force is applied at about 45 degrees to the wall, the edge furthest from the force lifts enough to break the seal.

Suggestions for improving this product:.

A: Provide explicit instructions for cleaning the surface prior to attachment.

B: Provide a high viscosity sealant that that prevents lifting of the edge when sideways force is applied.

The ideal sealant would be one that cures, much like silcon seal, but that can be removed with a solvent at a later date if needed.

C: Work on the aesthetics. They look and feel like cheap plastic.
