    These I found to be useful for maintaining balance in the shower but not to be depended upon for weight bearing or trusting for stability. The suction loosens after about three days or more so they have to be checked before use each time for safety. As mentioned though, they help maintain a balance even with a mere touch.

    I researched this product before purchase and did read the reviews, I installed these for stability getting in and out of the shower and while in the shower, I have vertigo when I close my eyes and lets face it we do that in the shower, I have found that when installed they are both sturdy and very helpful, I would recommend this product in a heart beat.

    As a disable person. I can tell you do not put your full trust into these handles. Even when installed exactly as the instructions dictate they will lose suction fairly quickly. You should always double check their security before putting significant pressure on them.
