The output of the AD600 Pro II is impressive. The consistent and reliable performance has been a game-changer for my workflow. It handles large modifiers with ease, and if you pair it with a 36-inch or larger softbox, the light it produces is simply stunning. The soft, even, and flattering illumination on the subject makes it perfect for portrait work, weddings, and editorial shoots. It’s also powerful enough to compete with natural light outdoors, which is a huge plus for location photography.

One feature I’ve come to appreciate is its fast recycling time. It keeps up with high-paced shoots without missing a beat, which is critical when you need to capture those perfect moments. The TTL and HSS functionalities work flawlessly, adding to the overall convenience and versatility of this flash. What can I say? This is a powerful, high-quality strobe light that can be used outdoors. The previous generation of the AD600 is a known commodity and was well-regarded for being a strong performer at a slightly better price than some more "premium" brands. I've been a fan of Godox for a while and their flashes have always served me well. I think my oldest flash from them is about 6 years old and is still going strong.

The AD600II has some quality-of-life improvements over its predecessor, but in terms of raw performance, I don't notice a huge difference. I'm also not someone who pushes these flashes to their limits on a regular basis, though.

The touchscreen is nice and easy to use. The X3 wireless system (flash trigger sold separately) works very well and is great for syncing and managing all of your compatible flashes from one place. Overall, I would consider it to be a simple yet powerful platform that is relatively easy to understand but also capable of managing some pretty complex lighting setups.

If you don't need all of the latest bells and whistles, I'd say that the AD600 is still a great option that will most likely be selling for a little cheaper now. If you're someone who is going to be pushing this flash to its limit and can also benefit from things like the touch screen and more advanced organization, then this AD600Pro II probably has that little bit of extra performance that you're looking for over the previous generation. Either way, Godox makes some great lights at reasonable prices and this latest model is no exception.

le système de flash GodOx est de qualité professionnel, attention lors de l’ouverture du colis, il faut les manipuler avec précaution, lors de la mise en place de l’ampoule, il faut absolument mettre des gants pour éviter de toucher l’ampoule à main nue. J’ai offert ce kit à un jeune photographe, qui était dans le besoin qui voulait se lancer dans la photographie, il en est très satisfait et peut démarrer sa carrière en toute sérénité. Il y a plein de petits réglages, réglage du flash, mode stroboscopique, couleur des délais, de déclenchement, etc.

le flash studio (voire extérieur) est une belle évolution par rapport à ce qu'on avait avant. il est réactif, peut faire presque tout ce que l'on souhaite. On peut choisir les couleurs et on a quelque chose de solide. Alors oui, c'est cher, mais c'est justifié. Evidemment, c'est lourd et il faudra l'installer sur un tripode ou autre. Je recommande... mais c'est un produit professionnel.
