Not awful. Disliked the string so cut it off, when chewing on the top part there seemed to be an air pocket the slowly came apart, cut off the top section and it seems much nicer. Loses it's hardness with more chewing. (photo shows the one I trimmed to remove the hole, one where the hole is starting to become apparent, and an unchewed one)

    These are supper cute and work like a charm. My son has anxiety and he finds comfort in these necklaces. He chews on them when he gets anxious. He chews and sucks on them. He loves that the look like swords from star wars. They are a great price. He can use at school or home.

    My 13-year-old had been asking for chewelry for some time as a way to help them focus, so I figured we’d give these GNAWRISHING silicone necklaces a try. These do seem to help in the same way fidget toys help. He has had to learn to be gentle when chewing though, I wouldn’t recommend these for heavy chewers or kids who don’t yet understand how to be gentle. My friend’s son has also really taken to these. He’s only 6 and loves them, to the point where he feels lost without it now. He says it helps him focus. I’d say these are a win.

    These sensory chew necklaces are good for kids that have an oral fixation and always need to be chewing something or have something in their mouths. So far my son is enjoying the red one while he is at school and has been chewing his fingernails a lot less then before. I am hoping it lasts for a long time for each one but if it doesn't then I will come back and edit my review.
