The stand itself is gorgeous with nice details when you're playing your guitar and you hardly see it when it's serving its purpose.     The design of this is great and it holds the guitar nicely. The look however is something to be desired. You can tell it's fake wood from a mile away which makes it looks a bit cheap. I would rather it was made a solid black or some other colour (maybe I'll coat it). I'll use it to hold my spare guitar in the den but will look for something that looks more classy to hold my Fender :)

    The design for this guitar stand is brilliant, and, I was looking frwd to enjoying it for years to come. Sadly, the materials used to make this item are so weak, the stand broke within just a few weeks of purchase.
    Being lightweight, I picked up my guitar to play one day, the strap picked up the stand with it. Then, the stand dropped less than a foot from the floor, and, when it landed, the stand broke. Wood mulch particle board with a thin layer of wood themed covering does not make for a structurally sound product. Disappointing.
