Product Description

OPERATION STEPS

STEP 1	Sand & clean the surface, then keep it dry. NOTE: FAILURE TO CLEAN MAY CAUSE THE PAINT TO FLAKE EASILY
STEP 2	Stir the paint thoroughly to ensure it's evenly mixed. (If there is any delamination when you receive the paint, this is normal; just mix it well.)
STEP 3	Apply 1-2 coats of base coat A to the surface with a roller or soft brush. Covering the entire surface evenly, and wait 1-2 hours for it to dry
STEP 4	Apply wood look paint B to the surface using a roller, evenly covering the entire surface (Note: Paint B is thinner; please make sure the furniture is flat when painting to avoid the paint flowing to one side.)
STEP 5-Brush	1.Brush vertically with the side of a stiff bristle brush for a wood graine ffect, Wait 3-4 hours for drying after the desired effect is achieved
STEP 5-Silicone Tool	2.Can also be replaced by scraping the wood grain with a silicone wood grain tool and wait for it to dry. (Repeat steps 4-5 if you are not satisfied with the results.)
STEP 6	Apply Topcoat C to the surface using a roller or soft brush & wait 2 hours for it to dry. NOTE: To prevent the paint from flaking, PLEASE WAIT FOR 3-7 DAYS TO DRY BEFORE USE

HOW TO DO IT BETTER-READ BEFORE USING

Wood Base Paint A	When applying base coat A, it is recommended to apply 1-2 coats for light-colored substrates and l extra coat for dark-colored substrates to achieve complete coverage of the original substrate
Wood Look Paint B-Learning	Learn how to scrape beautiful wood grain effects and how to use the silicone wood grain tool (Note: Paint B is thinner; please make sure the furniture is flat when painting to avoid the paint flowing to one side.)
Wood Look Paint B-Practice	Practice applying wood-look paint B before formal construction. Use a roller to cover the surface, then use a hard brush to brush out the grain
Wood Look Paint B-Apply	How heavy or light you apply the wood-look paint B will dictate theoverall depth of your wood's tone
Wood Look Paint B-Apply	Apply Paint B with a stiff-bristled brush as vertically as possible without stopping, and only if you see any wood grain paint build-up.use a soft-bristled brush and gently dry-brush off the build-up with vertical strokes

REASONS WHY PAINT FLAKES EASILY

Lack of sanding & cleaning the surface: Paint adherence will be hampered and peeling may result if the surface is not cleared of dust, oil, and other contaminants before painting.
Not completely dry: Although the paint will dry within 24 hours, it is recommended to wait 3-7 days before using it to ensure that the paint is completely cured and to avoid flaking due to premature use.
Covered surfaces are too rough: Such as concrete. Woodgrain paint is suitable for smooth surfaces, such as tiles, wood, metal, stone surfaces, etc. If used on very rough and uneven surfaces, it may cause the paint to peel off easily.

I got this paint kit to update my bathroom cabinets, which had some water damage and peeling paint. I was admittedly nervous about the process since I had no prior experience painting wood, but the kit made it very approachable. It came with everything I needed (even the tape to cover adjacent surfaces), and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The paint applied well and did an excellent job covering the damaged areas. The colour is rich, and the wood texture effect makes the cabinets look high-end. It also didn’t take too long to dry; I was able to use the shower the next day. I’m really impressed with this product and can definitely recommend it, especially for first-time or amateur painters.

All in one wood finish kit. I only used this for a small repair on a wooden desk. There was water damage to one side and I had sanded the piece out and filled with wood filler. It always looked out of place but we like the desk so lived with it. I seen this and figured it may help. Well, the colour is off but it looks much better than wood filler. I got pickled Oak when I perhaps should have got the darker variety. I have plenty left over for a future project. Not the easiest stuff to work with, but the finished product is worth the work.

Great to paint over old wood that doesn't have much life in it, or something that never did to start with. The stamps to give it the pattern are a silicone like material, so they're cleanable and reusable, which is a major bonus. It has what you need to make your bland dull thing come to life and actually look like a wooden piece. I wish we had this a few months ago when we redid our doors, because if they'd have turned out like the product photos, we'd be impressed. Take your time, follow the instructions and practice before you do it, but even for someone clueless like me, it has everything you'd need

I used the woodgrain paint on our dining room table. The result is very good. The most difficult part of the whole procedure was applying the woodgrain paint, I purposely searched for videos on this subject to learn ...... and read the instructions, luckily the result is very good, I am very satisfied!

The kit includes everything needed. For novices, it's a good idea to practice before you officially use it. We love the look of the remodeled cabinets and it works for doors, table tops and other furniture as well. Looking forward to the next remodel!

There is a tremendous amount of effort involved in putting this wood-grain paint kit from brand GLAINTE to work, in an actually effective way that simulates real wood grains. With a little time and patience, you might manage to create a facsimile that you can be happy with on a small space.

But honestly, although this kit is suggested to be sufficient to cover a large area, trying to do that alongside properly simulating wood grain can be an exponential chore. However the paint is thick and coverage does seem to be good so far, but its a patience game for sure.

I do like that there is such a large amount of accessories, including flat brushes, rollers etc. which are items I can use in the future for other tasks even after expending all the paint that comes with this particular kit. It's a strong value no matter the challenge. 4 stars.
