awesome board couldn't believe when I started building lga1700 builds that Gigabyte boards were out performing Asus boards. i have a z690 Gigabyte UD board that out preforms z790 Asus Tuf board. I'm still more accustomed to Asus bios layout but MSI has nice bios IMO. Have yet to push this board with anything more then an I3 12100f, but looking forward to putting a 12600k into it in the future. Also any issues that I've had with this board was because of a bad RMA and no fault to Gigabyte

4stars because amazon doesnt take care of products. Gigabyte is great just not from amazon.

The bios is a good looking bios but looks aren't everything, its easy to install however it is not easy to work.

It worked for 3 days, and started crashing black screen and and then blue screen. I haven't downloaded anything from the internet, only GCC (GIGABYTE Control Center) and that Doesnt work, after installing all the drivers and preferences, the center wouldn't open.

Every component is compatible, and yet the CPU is crashing. My ram is T-Force 6400mhz, this board is 2100mhz, nothing wrong there.

Edit: I purchased a second motherboard, this time, it is working correctly and performing as described, i havent came across the problems i had with the 1st purchase. I also did the same steps to repeat that problem, and its operating correctly.

So my conclusion is that my 1st purchase was a faulty board, maybe a mixed order perhaps.

My specs are, 13th gen Intel Core i5 13600kf, ARGB T-Force RAM of 6600mhz, 2TB SSD ARGB, 10TB HDD, ARGB Aero GIGABYTE Geforce rtx 4060 3x fans, Thermalright Frozen Magic V2 3x fans, ARGB Thermalright single fan cools the GPU, 3x case fans ATX Cooler Master mesh ARGB control alloy steel and temp glass, 1000W Sama Power Supply Platinum certified, Turzx 2k display screen.
2.1HDMI cable connected to GPU to the
Dell curved 4k monitor silver and white.

CPU temp levels:
Im playing call of duty m3 and get 50°-60°c on multiplayer when in combat, i get 30°-35° in campaign while in combat, main menu a stable 20°. Those are great numbers for the price of this motherboard.

With starfield its more complicated, its never stable, thats because its Starfield. The game needs more updates.

Cyberpunk2077 Ultimate Edition i get 40° 50°
During combat.

These games are all played in Max resolution Settings.
Multiplayer i get a stable 100FPS 100Ghz .

Conclusion, the Motherboard is great for gaming and multi-tasking with the right Chip and RAM, IT has integrated 4k resolution, so you can hook your 2.1HDMI cable.

The video shows temp levels for fallout 4GOTY with 100+mods

I reccomend, you may need to buy another if the 1st dont work, could've been my bad luck.

Note: Dont install GCC (Gigabyte control center) it will crash your MB. If you need a PMW install Nvidia fan control. And LED control, install OpenRGB.

The board itself is pretty nice, comes with a decent external WiFi antenna but a cheap IO plate. The one I got was a Warehouse Deal that arrived with no socket cover and with the WiFi antenna and IO plate rattling around in the box. After putting it together, the lights on the board alternated between CPU and DRAM and the system would not boot. Upon closer inspection I realized it came with a few bent socket pins. I swapped all the same components onto another board (ASRock B760M Steel Legend WiFi) and it booted immediately. It's worth noting that the ASRock is a similar price (actually $10 cheaper) but has more value added on the board and in the box contents (heatsinks for both M.2 slots, extra mounting screws, velcro straps for cable management, etc.). Overall I'm sure the DS3H AX is a fine motherboard (I've used other Gigabyte boards in the past without issue), but this one from Warehouse Deals was just an inconvenience and now I'm waiting for a refund.

Using a brand new 14600KS not OC, and used latest BIOS from day one. Able to hold high wattage and speeds with a tower air-cooler. Patriot DDR5 6200 runs at full advertised speed, on XMP-1 Nice heatsink for M.2 included. USB 20G on rear, as well as Ethernet 2.5G Q-Flash-Plus, allows you to flash BIOS before CPU/RAM/DRIVES or anything are installed. You can OC to some degree with the UEFI BIOS, just not the base multiplier. I turned the speed up from 3.5GHz to 3.8GHz just for fun, and it was stable. Passes all tests on OCCT with flying colors. Wi-Fi 6E works great!

Works great, stable, no complaints

Using a brand new 14600KS not OC, and used latest BIOS from day one. Able to hold high wattage and speeds with a tower air-cooler. Patriot DDR5 6200 runs at full advertised speed, on XMP-1 Nice heatsink for M.2 included. USB 20G on rear, as well as Ethernet 2.5G Q-Flash-Plus, allows you to flash BIOS before CPU/RAM/DRIVES or anything are installed. You can OC to some degree with the UEFI BIOS, just not the base multiplier. I turned the speed up from 3.5GHz to 3.8GHz just for fun, and it was stable. Passes all tests on OCCT with flying colors. Wi-Fi 6E works great!
