Product description

Genesis Technologies brake bleeder bottles make bleeding brakes clean and easy with the cable mount bleeder bottle. Just attach the valve on out 12" brake bleeder hose to your brake system open the valve and pump a few times on the brake until the fluid hose is full with no air bubbles. The cable mount, as well as the magnet mount bottle, feature an internal bottle tube for bottom fluid entry. The no spill/no leak hose storage bung on the top cap acts as a vent while in service. The large 16 oz. bottle holds twice the fluid as other bottles, which allows more flushes before having to empty. The cable mount bottle features a stainless steel lanyard that is perfect for hanging the bottle from the bleeder screw or a lug stud.

How To Use

  1. Connect the brake bleeder hose to the fluid catch bottle
  2. Attach the brake bleeder valve to the brake furthest from the master cylinder
  3. Secure the bleeder to bottle to a metal surface using the magnet or hang in a vertical position using the lanyard
  4. Open the bleeder valve on the vehicle and press down on the brake pump pedal several times
  5. Wait until the brake fluid hose is full with no air bubbles and then close the bleeder valve. Repeat this step with other wheels
  6. Fill your master cylinder reservoir with brake fluid if unsure refer to vehicle manual

    So I bought the manual hand held bleed pump for one person use and it worked fine but my hands were getting sore pumping for a while. So I purchased this and just did it the old fashioned way and had someone help pump the brakes and I used this bottle bleeder to suck out the old gross fluid. 10/10. The price could be cheaper i must say. I could have made this for less.

    For what this bottle costs I would have expected it to at least come with some sort of a rubber 'banjo' fitting for the brake bleeders. Instead, you get a silicone hose that's too short and also over-stretched at one end due to the way it's shipped with both ends shoved over the plastic fittings. This results in the hose not fitting properly on the brake bleeder. Ended up using a hose and rubber fitting from an old bottle. In the end I paid $25 for a dollar store bottle and magnet. Not impressed at all.

    The nipple on the plastic lid used to vent the container and store the hose while not in use literally dissolved and fell off after being used a few times. The rest of the cap will likely soon follow. I don't recommend this at all, it's cheaply made. The bottle is very thin and the magnet feels as though it will rip off if stuck well to a brake rotor face.
