The GEARWRENCH original ratcheting wrenches combine the speed of a ratchet with the access and control of a wrench. They offer the ease of 5 degrees of movement to turn fasteners, versus 30 degrees on standard combination wrenches. The small Ratcheting box end Head design enables access to tight spots where a ratchet won't fit. The open end allows for easier access on tough to reach spots, making jobs go faster and easier. This set is a great addition to any mechanic tools collection. Set Contents - SAE sizes: 1/4, 5/16, 11/32, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16 and 3/4 in, Includes metric sizes: 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 millimeter.

Not the best in GW’s lineup, but these are priced well and great for the heavier use DIYer. Haven’t had any slip working on my lawn tractor, snow blower, trailer, vehicles, or other typical home owner tasks. More comfortable and grip better than the Motomaster and Craftsman stuff I started with years ago. I thought about just getting a slightly better set of metric only but there’s still enough odd things inside the house or older equipment around that I couldn’t part with SAE. I had a pair of manual box wrenches that I've been using for years. Decided I wanted to get some ratcheting action in my workflow so I didnt have to manually place and replace a box wrench when tightening or loosening. This gear wrench set has been perfect. The ratcheting side has been very strong. So strong in fact that I've used a wrench extender to use it to apply torque without it slipping (i easily doubled the length of the wrench without any issue). The ratcheting may not be overly smooth or have very finely spaced teeth but it works very well. I've yet to have this set slip while using either the ratcheting or box end. Overall a great set that has been quality for me so far. And I can recommend to anyone in need of a set of ratcheting wrenches.
