Works well. Current draw is 8.2 Amps - other reviews say their A/C tripped their breaker - they must have had other things on the same circuit. I'm surprised the amp drwa is as low as it is - that is with the fan on low speed and A/C running. The APP and remote both function well and setup was fairly easy. Not too noisy - what do you expect with 2 fans and a compressor running. There are casters on the bottom to move it around, but they're small so if on carpet won't move very well. On a solid floor it moves well. Temperature is easily switchable between F & C. The box it came in was strong and was easy to get the unit out due to the box design - good because it is quite heavy.
CONS
Window vent tube is shortish even when fully extended so it can't be too far from the discharge window. It only is good for a slider type window not an awning type. To make the vent expandable, it is corrugated and stiff - a smooth hose would be less restrictive. The unit is fairly heavy and carrying it around is somewhat difficult. It only uses 1 vent hose - it would have been fairly easy to add a 2nd hose so outside air could be also ducted into the device. Now it uses room air which gets blown outside so that air has to be replaced with probably hot outside air being drawn into the room - probably reduces efficiency. There are indents meant to be handles but not really deep enough to get a good grip to carry it. With a slightly different cool air discharge vent (it's about 4" x 18") - similar to the exhaust, it could easily be converted to be a heat pump and provide heat - not just an A/C. Not sure what will happen with water build up if that occurs. Apparently it will shut off - drain is out the bottom which will be difficult to drain into anything.
Overall - I'm quite happy with the unit. It was shipped lying down contrary to a label on the package but I let is sit vertical for a while before turning it on.
