GE's Grow Light uses a balanced spectrum with a red: blue ratio inspired by best practices of professional growers. The balanced spectrum allows not only chlorophyll but also other plant pigments to optimize their light harvesting. I bought these to replace some veeeeery yellow grow bulbs. They were extremely effective and bright, and the plants responded well. But I couldn't stand the light colour temperature, which I'm a stickler for. I was interested in these because they say they're white to the eye, but they're not. They're pretty pink to the eye. In the pictures I have the GE bulb on the left and a Miracle Grow LED daylight bulb on the right. The Miracle Grow bulb is legitimately white. In terms of the plants response to these lights, it's too soon to tell, but i imagine it will be fine. Theyre not as bright as the previous bulbs i had but nothing will be, and thats ok. Because of the hanging setup I have, I can always lower the fixture closer to the plants if needed. TL;DR: if you're ok with a pink hue, these are good lights and both you and your plants will probably be happy with them.

    I bought those and the GE Grow Lights A19 bulbs. I didn't know which ones to choose. Besides the shape, the performance seems to be the same.
    Here's what I said for the GE Grow Light A19 : "I was considering purple grow lights at first. But I'm glad I found these bulbs. I paired them with a clamp lamp and a smart plug. I programmed the lamp to turn on and off at specific times.
    They are so bright and they seem to provide the amount of light that I couldn't get in the room where my plants are."
    Since I've had them, I can already see the difference. I'm just an amateur gardener. But (thanks to those grow lights) it looks like I may succeed in saving some of those carnivorous plants that I have. They require so much light (which I couldn't get with sunlight alone because of my house/window configuration).

    Compared to the more expensive T5 lights, these lights are amazing. The are bright and cover a large area. I started with only 2 and now have a total of 6 to cover a 36-plants NFT system. Much cheaper than using T5 bulbs.
