This FrostyCool kit contains the necessary items to recharge an A/C system efficiently and safely.
Contains:
• 2 cans of FrostyCool 134 Replacement Refrigerant
• 1 Deluxe Recharge Hose with Gauge
• A/C Retrofit Conversion Fitting
• A/C Refrigerant Oil Tester

FrostyCool 134 Replacement Refrigerant is a blend of environmentally safe hydrocarbon refrigerants designed as a replacement for R-134a and retrofitted CFC-R12 systems in cars, trucks, tractors, boats, mobile air conditioning and refrigeration units.

FrostyCool 134 Replacement operates at lower head pressures and offers colder air and improved performance compared to HFC-R134a.

One 6 ounce can of FrostyCool 134 Replacement Refrigerant is equivalent to 15 oz. of HFC-134a & 17 oz. of CFC-R12. Average of 12 oz. is required for automotive A/C systems.

Operation: FrostyCool 134 Replacement Refrigerant operates at lower head pressures which results in an increased lifespan of the compressor and decreased engine load.

Compatibility: FrostyCool 134 Replacement Refrigerant is compatible with most air-conditioning lubricants, seals, gaskets, hoses, compressors and o-rings. FrostyCool 134 Replacement Refrigerant along with mineral oil are incompatible with butyl rubber hoses.

Environment: FrostyCool 134 Replacement Refrigerant is a 100% natural organic refrigerant.
FrostyCool 134 Replacement Refrigerant is non-ozone depleting and has a low global warming potential.

I purchased it for my Honda civic 2012. At the beginning, I just used it to connect the "L" point of the cooling system and found that the coupling didn't fit. I contacted the seller and got the advice. Then I figured it out to connect with those accessories for my vehicle. It worked perfectly afterwards.     I have a Honda Civic 8th gen that uses 134a and this thing works like magic. My car was blowing hot air when the temperature is high on summer even on my cold A/C setting. Now after using one can, the pressure on the gauge went from 15 to 35, it's now blowing very cold air that I almost freezed myself.

    Illegal. You have to purge your 134a system to use this legally. This is not clear from the description. Every credible source said you are not supposed to top up r134a with R12a. It’s compatible with the system but you have to vacuum the whole ac system out first which needs special equipment only from auto shops to do safely. You cannot buy 134a legally in Canada as a homeowner. Only available in auto shops as they can dispose of it safely.
