    A solid little kit. I had expected it to be a little .. cheaper .. but was surprised that the plastic is pretty thick and sturdy with no-skid pads on the bottom. (nice touch). Makes it a really good buy for $10. The cover is where you 'weave', and there are little pegs you can put into it depending on what you are trying to do. Daughter is 7, and she was really excited to make friendship bracelets, BUT .. she is dyslexic with dysgraphia (I was hoping this might help with that actually) and doesn't read well .. so *I* wound up making a few bracelets :P This reminded me of middle school, when all the girls would make these in class with some embroidery thread and masking tape. You could make a handful of bracelets with these, and just put more 'thread' on the spools when they use it up. I'm not sure about the buttons/do-dads for clasps, the spaces for them are a specific size, but when we were kids people just tied them on and never took them off anyways. The instructions were a surprise, and they have more than just the 'simple' weaving pattern. I'm think this would be a little better suited for an older kid .. maybe 8-9 .. if you are hoping for some 'kid is busy doing something and I can relax' time. My kid found the idea fun, but the execution frustrated her.
