- Reviewed in Canada on May 24, 2025Verified PurchaseThis thing is a god sent!!!! I’m using it before birth cuz I am now dribbling at 7 months pregnant but I know this will be very helpful postpartum too. I absolutely love it.
- Reviewed in Canada on May 7, 2025Oh my gosh, this was a godsend. The ones they give you at the hospital are a nightmare to use. Trying to aim and not get it everywhere… these completely change the game for postpartum cleaning. No aiming needed.
It was great considering you didn’t have to move around or position yourself strangely just to use it, we all know how sore you get and doing acrobatics just to clean yourself after giving birth sucks. I do wish the bottle was a bit bigger, but you can always refill as much as you need. But the bottle itself was very easy to squeeze, unlike some, where you're needing two hands just to get some flow going. The flow of this is great, not too harsh, and it’s a steady stream, too, so you’re not repumping to get more. The cute little storage bag was a bonus, but not really needed. It was nice to have going in, but I really never used it again as I wanted it to be ready to go and easily accessible. There’s no leaking or dripping after or during use from the bottle, which is always a plus, cause no mom needs more mess to clean during bathroom breaks.
To be honest, I will probably use this after postpartum just for extra cleaning, it really makes you feel like you’ve gotten everything. My regret is not having one for each bathroom in my house because sometimes I’d forget which bathroom it was in and use a different one, having to call my hubby to bring it to me.
- Reviewed in Canada on May 6, 2025The patient was in hospital and was not able to bathe or shower due to her condition (mobility limitations except for standing and sitting).
This portable bidet worked to help keep the privates clean. The patient just needs to stand in the shower stall to use this to wash up. This bidet would be used to wet the area and wash the soap off. You do need to refill it a few times as the bottle holds a smaller amount of water than other portable bidets. This is not an issue if there is a helper who can refill it for the patient.
The bidet is easy to use - just fill it with warm water, pull the nozzle up to create a seal with the cap, turn the bottle upside down and squeeze the bottle - the water comes out upward to help clean the private area. To dry, you just drain it, push down the nozzle head and let air dry. It comes in a nice storage bag to keep it clean and hang it onto a bathroom hook.
It did not leak as the gaskets were good when holding the bottle upside down.
We found this to be very useful during our patient's emergency stay. 100% recommend it for patients that can only stand or must sit on a shower chair.
I recognize you can use the handheld shower spray heads at the hospital, but sometimes, that option isn't always available [room dependent] or easy to manage without creating a bigger mess for the patient and helper due to uncontrolled water pressure and where the on/off faucet switch is.
This was a much calmer, easier way to clean the patient with limited mobility.
- Reviewed in Canada on May 26, 2025I’m preparing to have my second child. There’s a decade age gap between my first and my second, and this is a great example of how some things have really improved in that time.
With my first, the hospital just gave me a squeeze bottle - not unlike a ketchup bottle. Like, how is that supposed to work? Spoiler alert - it doesn’t haha.
This is amazing because you just fill it up and align it and squeeze. You don’t have to be an acrobat.
Add in that it’s made of a nice, soft, squeezable, washable silicone with a shower head-like nozzle on the end and it’s extra effective.
It also comes with a bag to put it in. I kind of doubt I’m going to leave the house long enough to need to take it with me during those early weeks, but good to have just in case and also for longer term storage afterward. On the other hand, I can see this being useful for my monthly as well once the little one is here.
Would highly recommend!

- Reviewed in Canada on May 7, 2025I’m at the opposite end of life from childbearing but I picked this for myself to use as a portable bidet.
I’m a recent convert to bidets and have got to the point where I miss having one when traveling.
This bottle comes with a carry bag. It is not small but it holds a very good amount of water for cleaning AND it sprays that water out until there’s very little left (unlike the hospital peri bottle I had). So I have not needed to refill. The spray goes where you intend it to, not all over the place.
It is pricey but it is the right tool for the job, and that is worth something.
For soon-to-be moms reading this, for the occasional times I needed it I kept the peri-bottle the hospital gave me after my first baby for almost 30 years. When I moved to an apartment I thought I could downsize and leave that behind. Nope. On the plus side, I now have something much, much, better. So, don’t be in a rush to get rid of this after your last childbirth. If you have space to keep it, you’ll likely find yourself using it over the years.
- Reviewed in Canada on May 9, 2025A super solution for hygiene. This Frida Mom peri bottle is well made and serves as bidet alternative. In fact, I think it's better than an expensive bidet. It's portable and works in a similar, if not better, way. The purple bottle is made of a plastic that is flexible and easy to squeeze. Once filled with water, the stream comes out of the angled nozzle with excellent pressure and force based on how hard I squeeze the bottle. I can put warm or cool water in, whatever I like. It's very easy to direct the stream of water where it's needed to clean. It's like showering a hard-to-reach area with clean water. The nozzle delivers a consistent flow out of many small holes.
The unit is quick and simple to clean. The two pieces detach with a screw top and can be rinsed and sanitized.
It comes with a handy travel bag and is lightweight and compact as the nozzle can drop back into the bottle if desired.
This peri bottle is the answer to irritating wet wipes and costly bidet unit add-ons to the toilet.
