A bit pricey but I don't mind paying for something that works. Used only one blade on a 12 inch thick root deep in the ground. Root was still green & would of been hard for any tool. Blade never broke, kept cutting until "I" wore out. I believe the first blade is dull now. But I am sure this is not what it was designed for, but it held up.

I have used this saw blade on several stumps up to 8ins in diameter. Worked very well and blade is still sharp. More versatile than the shorted blades. Only drawback is that it doesn't cut thin branches (1 inch and under) well - just tends to vibrate too much before it gets a bite on the wood. But that's why I have a hand saw as well so no problem..

Super effective and durable. Used to cut down and uproot dead apple tree. Apple trees are hardwood, and this made easy work. These are sharper and stay sharper longer than the slightly cheaper EZARC carbide 3-pack of same length and TPI - I had new 3-packs of each and compared them.

Of significant note, I also plunged this blade near vertical into the ground to cut away the roots in a circle to uproot this tree. Cheaper and less disruptive and WAY easier to handle than a stump grinder. Didn’t want to rent and load/unload one…just more time, money and work. Didn’t want to meet a contractor to bid it. After cutting down the tree and cutting half way around the roots. I needed a new blade from the 3-pack and finished the circle. You can tell when you hit a root because the wood is hard, otherwise it makes quick time through packed soil like it’s almost not there. A pleasure to use and a good clean finish to the job.
