There goes another utensil...literally down the drain! This simple plastic screen fits snuggly into the drain of your sink well above the grinding parts of your garbage disposal. The holes are big enough to let water flow and small food particles to flow through while keeping your utensils and other non food items on the sink. It almost pays for itself with the first spoon it saves.
The strainer has a small nob to grab hold of one your want to inset or remove it. The one design flaw is that his nob is only in one side not both so if you accidentally place it in the drain upside down it can be a bit difficult to remove it. I usually just use a small knife or fork to wedge it our and flip it over.
