A nicer looking DAC/AMP with great sound output quality
I own the Fosi Audio SK02 and bought this to replace it to see if the sound quality as well as the usability (and style on the desk) makes it better overall. I can say is that I notice just a slight touch improvement in sound quality at 32bit/384khz but your mileage may vary depending on the Headphone/IEM you use. I personally love the design of the DAC/AMP that Fosi Audio have done for the K7 and I honestly prefer this style over the SK02 but of course there is a huge price difference between the two. I can recommend this if you got the money for it as well as liking the design of the DAC/AMP. I am still testing this out but this may be a keeper. This one has RCA audio inputs for those that use those for their sound setup as well as your typical TypeC connection and Digital Optical but a very nice addition this time over the SK02 is an additional 3.5mm Microphone input, great if you decide to get an IEM with a mic built-in, or using another 3rd party mic via 3.5mm (useful for console players but for PV users, I learned that if you use UAC 2.0 mode to use 32bit/384khz audio quality output, mic is disabled so keep that in mind for PC players. Console will use UAC 1.0/PCM). The K7 in the box comes with a splitter at least (3.5mm combo to 2 ends that goes into the audio and mic inputs of the 3.5mm jacks). Overall a worthy DAC/AMP but if you are coming from something like the SK02 I would consider saving for now unless you like the design of the K7.
