I have a Meta Quest 2. This charging dock is a great addition to the VR. Not only it can charge the Quest itself, it also can charge the two controllers. The rechargeable battery for the controllers are included. You will need to remove the case, put in the rechargeable battery and use the new case come with the charging dock. The metal part of the battery has to be face to the outside so it can connect to the charging station through the case. It feels good to not have to replace the battery every now and often.

The magnetic charging connection for the Quest works well so I don't have to insert the USB-C cable into the unit multiple times everyday. I also like the LED indicator on the charging dock so I know the charging is complete from the front. Overall it is a great purchase and highly recommended for every Quest user.

Decided to purchase this after using my Quest 2 for about 2 years but never having a place to neatly store them. Surprisingly the Charging dock is not a large form factor as i had initially expected which is very great in taking up little space. The rechargeable battery and the cover provided for the controllers fit and feels like they are OEM. Now i don't have to worry about placing new batteries ever again. Also they provided magnetic usb c dongle to plug into the headset and you can magnetically attach it to charge which makes it way more convenient to charge after each use or when you want to charge it. The RGB lights can be turned off which is great when you find it too distracting. So far i am very pleased with the purchase and makes storing my quest 2 more organized.

This dock is relatively compact, provides enough power (rated at 20W vs the OG Quest 3 adapter at 18W), and keeps your headset and controllers organized while they charge.

The overall quality is good, though some parts - like the battery covers - are made of a noticeably cheaper plastic than stock or even some third party ones I have. They work, to be fair.

This dock is cross compatible with three separate Quest models as it uses a USB plug instead of the charging contacts on the bottom. To make it more convenient, it's a magnetic adapter and they've thoughtfully included four of them as it's my experience that magnetic adapters do not last all that long and they seem to know it too.

With the included controller batteries (AA size with giant contacts) everything fits on nicely, with the controllers having a particularly satisfying magnetic thock as they slot in place. The magnetic USB adapter works, although due to the weight of my halo strap it kind of lifts the headset up and comes really close to pulling the cable off unless I bend the strap down every time.

With a stock strap I imagine it rests nicely as all the weight is on the front.

If you have an out-of-the-box Quest with nothing added, this would be a pretty handy little charging setup.

My issues are twofold, although I cannot penalize this charger too much for them as others will not have the same issues:

1) The USB charging method requires you to stick a little magnetic USB adapter that's incredibly hard to remove. Have a strap with a battery that routes through the USB port? Whoops, now you have to unplug that and plug in the tiny magnetic adapter every single time, and then again when you take it off.

2) The controller panels technically work with some designs of hand straps, but without disassembling them every time it's virtually useless as mine won't fit in the slots with the straps.

If you're just using the lanyards the second won't be a problem and if you don't have an external battery the first one won't be an issue. If either of those apply to you, though....this isn't for you.

Simple product, but it helps keep the Meta Quest 3 charged and 'put away'. It's funny, but my kids are better about putting things away if they 'have a place'.
