Clean the surface of your pet's terrarium where you plan to attach the thermometer/hygrometer using a gentle cleaner and allow it to dry completely. Peel off the adhesive backing from the thermometer/hygrometer and attach it to the chosen spot on the terrarium. Press firmly to ensure that it is securely in place. Wait for a few minutes to allow the thermometer/hygrometer to adjust to the temperature and humidity of the enclosure. Check the readings on the thermometer and hygrometer to ensure that they are within the appropriate range for your hermit crab's well-being. If the readings are outside of the desired range, make necessary adjustments to the temperature and humidity levels in the enclosure until the readings fall within the acceptable range. Regularly monitor the thermometer and hygrometer to ensure that the environment remains stable and comfortable for your hermit crab.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on 鶹. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I've placed this beside another digital thermometer/hygrometer and it doesn't appear to be working. Will be asking for a refund. It arrived quickly, but in a bubble wrap envelope without additional protective packing.

This product is small and easy to use. It adheres to the side of the cage and seems quite accurate. I use it to adjust the temperature and humidity in the cage of my hermit crab.

Ordered this to keep an eye on the temp and humidity level in my baby turtle tank. It works ok, but you should know that it isn’t dead accurate. It tends to be a couple degrees off on both meters. So if you are looking for something that will give you “exacts”, this isn’t what you are wanting. A couple degrees isn’t a huge deal till I can pick up something else. I mean, I’m not trying to form factor male/female egg incubation. I’m just keeping my eye on the heat and humidity build up. And with this, I can see the changes from day to day, based on what lights I’m running, if the lid is open or closed, water filter raising humidity level, and when to ease up on the fogger. This isn’t a bad item to have just for a ballpark tally. However, you can buy more accurate meters for about the same price. Even some digital models. Im just not a fan of digital gauges for this type of uses. I don’t want to have to change a battery in 6 months or just throw one away because the battery replacement cost about as much as the gauge itself. I’ll stick to mechanical. It might not be as accurate, but it will outlive an armload of digital gauges. In 20 years, when your digital version is (dead) sitting in a junk drawer, my old school version will still be telling me the temp and humidity levels of what my junk drawer is.
I have several of these hermit crab thermo/hydro we used for our collection of snakes. They are accurate and easy to read from a tank. Sheds are awesome. Have reordered several times.
