Product description

1994's The Flintstones brought the modern Stone Age family—immortalized in the longest-running animated series in prime-time history—to the live-action big screen. After an aptitude test mix-up, Fred Flintstone (John Goodman) trades his job as a Slate & Company Bronto-crane operator for a vice presidency. However, there's trouble brewing in Bedrock: An evil executive (Kyle MacLachlan) and his sinister secretary (Halle Berry) are now plotting to use Fred as the fall guy in an embezzlement scheme! Join Barney Rubble (Rick Moranis), Betty Rubble (Rosie O'Donnell), Wilma Flintstone (Elizabeth Perkins) and her mother (Elizabeth Taylor) in a Steven Spielrock production filled with classic sight gags, dino-sized production values and sensational special effects.

Wonderful movie of the Flintstones for the 1990s. John Goodman & Rick Moranis lead an amazing cast in this story of love, friendship, and doing what is right. One of my favourite movies since childhood. Yes, there are some differences from the series, but the fact that a live action movie of the Flintstones was made is an incredible achievement. The blu-ray upgrade is magnificent, definitely better than the original DVD.

    I really liked this movie, The Flintstones starring John Goodman, and Rick Moranis. I didn't know what to expect when you take a cartoon and turn it into a live action comedy. This one works! I'd like to see The Jetsons done in live action comedy format as well. In this movie, The Flintstones, my most liked moments were when Fred (John Goodman) has his run ins with his Mother In Law, played fantastically by Elizabeth Taylor. The special features on this blu ray are worth watching. I would have liked to have had a stroll around the set. Well Done!
