Edits below: I don¡¯t write reviews often. After buying, I told a friend about it, came back to check price and decided to leave a well deserved review. This tool deserves it and if you¡¯re a natural born skeptic like me¡­ to tell you it¡¯s worth it. It¡¯s simply amazing. Just need this tool, some TLC and patience and you¡¯re set! I was curious to read what other said as well: All reviews are true. We bought a fixer upper and dandelions had taken over the front lawn. This tool helped pull them out with roots at big as 2 feet! Like pulling giant carrots out of the lawn. I didn¡¯t realize roots can be that big which was half the problem in the first place- if you don¡¯t get the root they just grow back! This tool will still get the root even if you miss first and cut the surface plant off. Takes a few times to learn how to line up the teeth. The tool is pricey (but cheaper on Â鶹Çø then in stores) but well worth the investment when pulling a large amount of weeds and for maintenance to use on smaller areas before weeds get out of control. 2023 Edit + Tip: I added before and after photos and found that spraying a herbicide where the weed was after removed will kill any roots that remain below ground that you can¡¯t see. This ensures the dandelion doesn¡¯t come back. I used ¡°SCOTTS Weed-B-Gon Max Weed Control Herbicide¡± as it kills weeds but not grass. Photo added of last year (2022) vs this year (2023). Still some work to go but it¡¯ll be perfect by fall. Happy gardening!

    When soil is dry pulling weeds is easy. If ground is wet you have a mud clump come out with the weed root. Just set aside and let it dry up and then shake off the dry dirt before putting it in your recycling bin.
    Definitely makes it easier for me with astioarthritis in my knees.

    I don't write many reviews but I had to for this. I just got it this morning and went out to tackle the dandelions. It works great. I went for this one which was a bit more expensive as I was afraid the cheap ones would not last long.
    You can easily recoup the extra cost by saving on chemical sprays which you have to apply at the exact right time. This works every time regardless and pulls a significant amount of the root as well. I hope to tackle the back yard over time......it's big and I have never sprayed there.
    Again...great product that works well. I just need a bucket tied to my waist so I don't have all the piles of weeds to go pick up. lol

    This tool is amazing. I was worried about it not pulling dandelion weeds because their roots can be long. But turns out this tool is perfect for that. The one I had been using requires twisting every time. Most of the time, all this one takes is stepping on the foot pedal and lifting. It really is that easy! It helps that it has rained a few times recently and the ground is relatively soft. But the tool does the pulling and the ejector is so easy to use. This makes the job so fast!
    This will be what I give for housewarming presents from here on! I am buying my second one now.
