    As a Souls veteran, I personally don't like the Mission based souls games. For me, it totally breaks the immersion and atmosphere. But this games overall design and 'soul' is just so well done. I'm loving it so far. People compare it to Sekiro but I find this way more fun to play. Also cool to see a souls game with celshaded graphics. Totally worth the price tag.

    Background: I'm a souls veteran. I have played sekiro, Elden ring, ds3, demon souls, Bloodborne, lies of p, stellar bladder 3, etc.

    The good:
    Art is amazing, I would like to see more games with similar polished graphics.

    The bad:
    Combat has various fundamental flaws such as stamina exhaustion punish even when not guarding.
    You need a very low latency display, parry windows are smaller than sekiro.
    Weapon and armor drop system is terrible with multiple duplicate pieces with various buffs that gets exhausting to read.
    Skill tree is annoying af, you have to setup everything all over when you want to change weapon class. This discourages experimentation.
    Art is amazing but the screen sometimes get riddled with special effects and visual clutters, making combat frustrating.
