Less than voltage 750mV, but should be heated at least 700°C and ramped up to voltage. This fireplace thermopile is used to maintain the pilot flame on the 1960s wall heater, not used for newer heaters.
  • Compatibility: Replacement for gas fireplace, water heater, gas fryer cluster thermocouple.
  • Connection Type: spiral type and two-pole plug-in type.
  • Excellent Performance : The Thermopile generator contains multiple thermocouples connected in series to increase the millivoltage output. The power generated is sufficient to operate the millivolt gas control system, independent of any outside power source. used with Q314, Q324, Q327, Q377, Q379, Q382 Pilot Burners.

1). Keep the thermopile heated in the 1/3 of the head location, Don't heat the back place to heater brass sleeve.
2). Because of High Resistance inside, The thermopile need around 1-2 minutes to be heated and increase to at least 750mV ( our reset voltage is around 800-900mV)
3) Do not take it off untill you heated it around 2 minutes.
4) Do not bend the fireplace thermopile too hard on the crimped part and inside wires or it may cause short circuit and low voltage problem.
