This is a set of 20 grip tapes. There is a good variety of colors, and I like the quality of the tape.
I ordered over grip tape for pail handles. My plastic pail handles were falling apart and I shored them up with plumbing Magic Tape, which isn't enough. My plan is to cut PVC pipe lengthwise, then cut it in sections of 10.5 cm. Then I put the PVC pipe over the wire handles, and the grip tape over the PVC to minimize pinching.
When I put it on at first, I did it the wrong way. I put the wide end first, and ended with the narrow sticky end. I didn't think it was going to stick well enough, so I put epoxy glue under the end. Then I thought the black wrappers were garbage and threw them out. After puzzling over my grips for a few days, I watched a video on how to put grip tape on. I was supposed to put the narrow end on first, and keep the black wrapper because it's a sticker to keep the grip stuck on. I fished 4 out of 5 black wrappers out of the garbage and put some on. Nothing got damaged and nobody got hurt, so it was no big deal in the end. I'm not using very much black sticker tape anyway.
I've done 10 pail handles, and I still have 5 more. I put the grip tape over the PVC, and it covers each handle a little over 2.5 times. It feels soft and cushiony. When I ordered it, it didn't occur to me that most grip tape is meant to handle sweat, not mud. I ordered some waterproof clear tape to try putting on top of it, so that my handles don't get really dirty. I don't know if the waterproof tape is going to work when it comes, but if it doesn't I can probably just wipe the handles clean. The PVC pipe by itself wasn't even that pinchy.
The handle grips feel great now. I'm loving the colors.
