Customers like the ease of use of the product. They mention it's easy to apply, mixes well, and works in under 3 hours.
I use it for killing moss in the lawn. Here in the Pacific North-West, our warm wet Winters are ideal for moss to grow and spread. One application of the Ferrous sulphate, 5 Tblespoons in 20 gallons of water, killed the moss in a couple of days! The price was excellent and delivery was in three days.
I like that I can mix just what I need. 1/4 cup to a gallon of water and use a handheld sprayer. Kills moss in the lawn in just a few hours, then the work begins taking out the dead stuff. Make sure you mix it in a separate bucket and then strain into the sprayer as there are few undissolved remnants that you don't want clogging your sprayer. Keep the leftover crystals in an airtight container for later use, I find the premixed liquid solutions rusting inside the container once opened.
Seems to work well to kill moss quickly. The moss started turning black within a couple of hours. I mixed it near the lower end of the recommended range - I used11 tablespoons per US gal.
The only issue I have with it is the amount of non-soluble material in it which can sometimes plug the sprayer nozzle. The pic attached shows what was left in the bottom of my sprayer after mixing 11 tablespoons with 1 US gal of water. I even tried using very hot water to see if that would dissolve everything, but it didn't.
I would rate it 5 stars if all dissolved properly.
Seems to work quickly to kill moss... but sediment in it plugged my sprayer nozzle a couple of times

I mixed this according to the directions to kill a large amount of moss on my lawn. Unfortunately it rained after about an hour after being applied. The rain lasted less than half an hour and to my surprise I got up the next day and the moss was black everywhere. What a great product, I would give it ten stars if I could
The package in the photo states 5-10 tsp per gallon for moss control, but the package that arrived reads 5-10 tbsp per gallon, which is correct according to the seller. So the actual coverage is approx 250% less than the photo states, which means the cost per area covered is actually 250% greater. Basically a 2 lb bag will fill two garden sprayers and only cover a 20' x 25' area which means you would need 4 bags for a typical lawn.
